2,737 officials have not yet submitted declarations for last year

In general, this declaration must be submitted to 54,783 state officials this year, by April 3, 52,046 officials or 95% have submitted it.

Of the highest state officials (Members of the Saeima, the President, ministers and parliamentary secretaries), all officials have submitted regular declarations for the year 2023.

The state official’s declaration, like other documents to be submitted to the SRS, must be submitted to the EDS by authorizing with internet bank details, eID, eSignature or “eSignature mobile”. Thus, if the EDS identifier and password assigned by the SRS is lost, it is no longer necessary to restore it.

In order to make it easier to fill out the declaration, the entry form of the EDS document has been improved, and those declaration points for which the SRS already has information are filled in automatically. On the other hand, the state official must check the information selected by the SRS and, if necessary, clarify and supplement it, as well as confirm the veracity of the specified information before submission.

The submitted declaration can be clarified by the official within three months after the declaration has been published in the SRS State Officials Declaration Database.
