Social media activist Permadi Arya aka Abu Janda has been declared cured of Corona after 10 days of being treated at Mayapada Hospital, South Jakarta. Abu Janda claimed to be saved because he got a convalescent plasma donor.
“I survived because of plasma, I am a witness that I survived because of plasma,” said Abu Janda when contacted detik.com, Monday (19/7/2021).
Abu Janda said he entered the emergency room at Mayapada Hospital with severe symptoms. In addition, Abu Janda had a congenital disease that made his condition worse.
“I entered the ER, my condition was severe, I had lung comorbidities. That was what made me heavy,” he said.
Abu Janda gets 3 bags convalescent plasma. His condition continued to improve after getting a convalescent plasma donor.
“So after being given the second plasma, the cough started to subside, the breath started to get a bit short. After the third plasma, the cough went away, and finally breathing was relieved,” he said.
Although during isoman treatment and at the hospital he received drugs, such as Avigan and Azithromycin, according to him, it did not affect his condition. Abu Janda only felt that his condition had improved after getting a convalescent plasma donor.
“Honestly, I don’t know if I can’t donate plasma maybe already ‘salam’. So plasma is me right witness, it was magical, instant. The doctor said he didn’t fix the tissue that was damaged by this person (the COVID-19 virus), but stopped the wider spread,” he said.
25 Percent Damaged Lungs
Abu Janda also told of his condition when he was taken to the hospital. Abu Janda | shortness of breath to high fever.
“I’m in. It’s 25 percent lung damage. So I’m lucky. In 7 days he already ravaged my lungs 25 percent, a quarter of my lungs,” he said.
Lucky, Abu Janda | it was not too late to be taken to the hospital with the condition of the lungs that had been attacked.
“I was lucky not to be late. Many of those who did not survive were taken to the hospital because they were late, more than 50 percent shortness of breath and organ failure, lungs did not function, passed. That’s the number of those who did not survive because they were brought home late sick,” he explained.
