Pure motorsport on one of the most traditional tracks in Europe: The complete 24h race of Spa-Franchorchamps is available from 30.-31. July here in the free live stream.

24 hours of racing action at the biggest GT3 race in the world: from July 30 to 31, 2022, the 24-hour race at Spa-Franchorchamps will be a real endurance classic. At the 74th edition of the motorsport highlight, a total of 65 GT3 vehicles will be at the start and fight for overall victory on the “Ardennes roller coaster” at Spa.

Sky Sport will broadcast the entire 24 hours of Spa and the Superpole live and free of charge on Friday as a stream – here on skysport.de and in the Sky Sport App.

When will the 24h race of Spa 2022 take place?

The start of the traditional long-distance classic in Belgium is on Saturday, July 30 at 4:45 p.m. The finish line in Spa-Franchorchamps will be 24 hours later, on Sunday, July 31 at 4:45 p.m.

Qualifying for the 24 Hours of Spa is already scheduled for Thursday, July 28 at 8:35 p.m. At the Superpole on Friday, July 29th, from 7 p.m., the 20 vehicles with the fastest average time will fight for pole position.

24h Spa 2022: Schedule & race week at a glance

While the main event of the 24-hour race in Spa does not really get hot until Friday, a real motorsport festival has already been on the program for the entire previous week on the traditional track in Belgium. In addition to the tests, free practice sessions and heats of the 24 Hours of Spa, there is also the full racing action of the French Formula 4, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the GT4 European Series and the GT anniversary race to marvel at. 24h of Spa: These participants will start in 2022

A total of 65 vehicles will start at the 74th edition of the GT3 classic. Of these, 23 cars were registered for the Pro Cup and are therefore considered favorites for overall victory in the Belgian 24-hour race. Of the remaining racing cars, 18 compete in the Silver Cup, 14 in the Gold Cup, eight in the Pro-Am Cup and two in the Bronze Cup.

In the field of participants, nine manufacturers are represented with GT3 cars in 2022: Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche. Audi and Porsche (five each) have the most Pro-Cup vehicles, with Mercedes-AMG and Porsche taking part with the most vehicles (13 cars each).

Who won the 2021 Spa 24 Hours?

Most recently, Ferrari was able to secure overall victory at the long-distance classic in Belgium with the Iron Lynx team. The driver team consisting of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Nicklas Nielsen and Come Ledogar won the GT3 race after a gripping finale.
