2024 Progresar Scholarships: Eligibility, Requirements, and Payment Schedule

The beneficiaries who will no longer receive the Progresar Scholarships are those who do not continue with their studies, have not accredited their attendance at an academic institution and do not comply with the conditions of the program:

Be Argentine/or native; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of five (5) years in the country and have a DNI;

Be a regular student at an educational institution.

Be between seventeen (17) and twenty-four (24) years of age. Advanced students in their career, up to thirty (30) years old.

Nursing students without age limit.

The income of the young person and his/her family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Living and Mobile Wages (SMVM): $468,000.

What are the Progresar Scholarships in force in 2024?
Progresar 16 and 17 years: is aimed at young people, under 18 years of age, who wish to complete their primary or secondary studies.

Progress Mandatory: for people between 16 and 24 years old, who wish to finish their primary or secondary studies. The line extends up to 35 years of age for those who have children, under 18 years of age, belonging to single-parent households.

Progresar Superior: is designed for people who wish to complete higher, tertiary or university level studies.

Progress Nursing: is aimed at higher level students who are pursuing a Nursing degree.

Progress Work: for students who are taking vocational training courses, endorsed by the National Institute of Technological Education (INET).

Progresar Idiomas: is a program that offers training and certification in “Foreign Languages”. Beneficiaries of this educational line can access an extra $12,000.

It should be remembered that with the last increase from the Ministry of Education, the amount of the Progresar Scholarships and the Progresar Trabajo training courses rose from $12,780 to $20,013.48.

The Ministry of Human Capital did not confirm whether there will be an increase for the beneficiaries of the Progresar Scholarships in January 2024. That is why the same amount as in August 2023 of $20,000 will follow.

In addition, so far, ANSES has not published the payment schedule for January 2024 but it is estimated that it will be in the last weeks of the month.
