Maverick Vinales recorded the fastest time in Free Practice 2 (FP2) MotoGP Thailand 2023. It excels Aleix Espargaro and Francesco Bagnaia.
Free Practice 2 (FP2) MotoGP Thailand took place at the Buriram Circuit, Saturday (28/10). Maverick Vinales immediately stepped on the gas to record the fastest time. He set a best time of 1 minute 30.550 seconds.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez started FP2 unconvincingly. He went too wide when cornering at corner 12.
The other racers failed to shake Vinales’ time record until FP2 was completed. Vinales was the fastest in FP2.
Alex Espargaro can move into second place before FP2 is completed. He is 41 seconds slower than Vinales, who is his teammate at Aprilia.
The third position is occupied by the top driver standings, Francesco Bagnaia. He ended FP2 with a best time of 1 minute 30.598 seconds.
The top five are completed by Fabio Quartararo and Miguel Oliveira in fourth and fifth positions. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin, who was dominant in FP1, failed to repeat this in FP2.
This racer from Spain completed FP2. His position is better than Fabio Di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez in 9th and 10th place. Marc Marquez was also less impressive in FP2, only being able to rank 14th.
