TWO OR THREE ROWS OF SEATS – The Peugeot e-Rifter was subjected to a fair amount restyling with the aim of increasingly adapting to the needs of those who use it electric multispace, both as a daily vehicle and for leisure needs. The updated version also maintains the two versions 5 and 7 seaterrespectively with length Standard (4.40 metres) e Long (4.75 metres). Instead, it increases theautonomywhich now goes up to 320 km declared with a single charge, 40 km more than the current model. The e-Rifter thus continues to represent a valid option for those customers with active lives, competing with electric models such as the Ford Tourneo Courier (whose electric version will arrive in 2024), Renault Kangoo and Toyota Proace City Verso, in addition to the other vehicles from the Stellantis galaxy.
SPACE AND TECHNOLOGY – The Peugeot e-Rifter updated features a new front, with the grille housing the new Peugeot logo in the center. On the sides, the French brand’s luminous claw signature stands out. Two new colors are available, Sirkka Green and Kiama Blue, which aim to highlight the outdoor soul of the vehicle, evidenced by the large wheel arches, the side protections, the roof bars and the excellent ground clearance. There dashboard of the new e-Rifter has been completely renewed, with particular attention to quality. L’i-Cockpit Typical of all Peugeot models it has a new 10-inch HD touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster and a compact heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. Many rooms glove box scattered throughout the passenger compartment, for a maximum of 186 liters of space, while the seats – all single even for the second and third rows – are covered in a new light gray fabric: the passenger seat and the rear seats can be folded into the floor. The large glass surfaces are completed by the Zenith roof. The trunk offers one loading space ranging from 775 liters for the 5-seater version up to 4,000 liters for the Long variant with the seats folded down.
SAME PERFORMANCE, MORE AUTONOMY – The Peugeot worked on the efficiency of e-Rifter, thus allowing autonomy to be increased without affecting performance. With a maximum power of 136 CV and a couple of 270 Nm, the e-Rifter can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 km/h. To optimize autonomy, the e-Rifter is equipped with a regenerative braking which works on three levels. Furthermore it is also equipped with a heat pump. Charging takes place thanks to a 7.4 kW on-board charger or, optionally, an 11 kW three-phase charger. There 50 kWh battery it can be recharged from a 100 kW public column in 30 minutes (from 0 to 80%), from a wallbox in 5 hours if 11 kW and in 7.5 hours if 7 kW, while from a 16A reinforced domestic socket it takes 15 hours. The range of safety technologies is wide, with a total of 17 driving aid systems including the novelty represented by adaptive cruise control.
