In the middle block, Tim Happ set a personal record with 797 pieces of wood, Lucas Faulstich only burned 735 pieces of wood. Before the final block, the 99ers led with 98 wood, before Werner Balzer and Denis Happ had problems, but caught each other and at least saved the lead at the finish. At the end of the day, Balzer still got 794 wood, Happ got 766 wood.
