Here are the main points of the statement made on Sunday by the head of the epidemic diseases service at the Directorate of epidemiology under the Ministry of Health, Hind Ezzine, on the epidemiological situation of the coronavirus in Morocco in 24 hours.
– 175 new cases;
– 17 healings;
– A total of 12,052 contaminations;
– A total of 8,740 people recovered;
– Healing rate of 72.5%;
– 1 new death;
– A total of 221 deaths;
– Case fatality rate: 1.8%;
– 93 of the new cases discovered through the follow-up of contact subjects;
– 634,143 cases discarded after negative laboratory analyzes;
– The new cases are distributed between the regions of:
. Casablanca-Settat (25: 11 in Mohammedia, 6 in Casablanca, 6 in El Jadida, 1 in Berrchid and 1 in Ben Slimane);
. Marrakech-Safi (19:15 in Marrakech, 2 province of El Haouz, 2 in Safi);
. Tanger-Tétouan-El Hoceima (54: 31 in Tangier, 12 in Fahs Anjra, 8 Larach, 2 in Medieq, 1 in Tétouan);
. Fès-Meknes (13: 5 in Fès, 7 in Sefrou, 1 in Meknès);
. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (12: 5 in Témara, 3 Kénitra, 2 Sidi Slimane, 2 Sidi Kacem);
. Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (44 à Laayoune);
. Guelmim-Oued Noun (4: 1 at Tan-Tan and 3 at Sidi Ifni);
. The Oriental (2 in Jerada);
. Béni Mellal-Khénifra (1 at Fqih Ben Saleh);
. Souss-Massa (1 in Agadir);
