Governor Raúl Jalil received 17-year-old Santino Buteler from Catamarca, who won a scholarship to study at a Dance Academy in the United States.
The young dancer said that, after various tests and auditions, he managed to receive a scholarship to the American Academy Ballet and next July he will travel to settle in Manhattan, New York.
“I started dancing from a very young age, but I began to study and train in dance at the age of 8 with musical comedy. Since then I have been searching, learning and professionalizing myself all the time. And at the age of 14 is when I fully immersed myself in dance, to train myself,” Santino told the Governor. This great possibility comes to Santino after auditioning in various places outside the province, including Córdoba and Tucumán, and he will have official support to fulfill his dream.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Roberto Brunello and the Secretary of State for the Cabinet, Guillermo Dalla Lasta.
