Epidemiological surveillance in recent days shows an increase in cases in Martinique has just declared the ARS (Regional Health Agency) this Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
Since the last update on June 5, 2020, the system set up to welcome travelers has made it possible to detect and confirm 15 new cases of Coronavirus Covid-19.
This brings to 217 the number of confirmed cases in the region.
Imported cases
These new cases are exclusively from travelers from France or Canada.
The arrival system for travelers then in place included isolation at home or in a collective center, compliance with barrier gestures and two tests, one performed on arrival, and another 7 days later.
It is imperative that the persons concerned respect this protocol to protect those around them and avoid installing a transmission chain on the territory of Martinique.
Observe barrier gestures
The whole population must also continue to respect barrier gestures and physical distance.
