As of April 8, 2020, 237 patients have been (have been) hospitalized and reported. 148 persons were reported dead. Not all of these people have been hospitalized or have died in the past 24 hours.

The figures of the past few days still fit the picture that the spread of COVID-19 is slower than if no measures had been taken.
Because not all COVID-19 patients are tested, the actual numbers in the Netherlands are higher than the numbers mentioned in the report.
