140 Million Vaccine Raw Materials from Sinovac Will Immediately Enter Indonesia

Jakarta: Indonesia will receive raw materials vaccine in bulk form from Sinovac manufacturer. PT Bio Farma will produce this raw material into a complete vaccine.

“We’ve been working together and we have agreement Sinovac, there are approximately 140 million doses of raw materials that will immediately enter according to timeline to Indonesia, “said Honesti Basyir, President Director of PT Bio Farma in a televideo conference, Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

PT Bio Farma has produced 15 million vaccines covid-19. Meanwhile, the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) has issued an emergency use permit or emergency use authorization (EUA) against vaccines made by Bio Farma. Thus, as many as 7.5 million doses of the vaccine dubbed the ‘covid-19 vaccine’ were distributed in February 2021.
