The Coupe de France started several weeks ago for some, it is the turn of the residents of National 3 to taste it. 135 of the 169 clubs in total enter this weekend since the reserve teams do not compete. This Friday, Hauts-Lyonnais eliminated D4 club ABH FC by a score of six to zero. THE’USSA Vertou did not fall into the trap of AS Saint-Pierraise (R3), representative of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. These are the first two N3 clubs qualified for the fourth round, which will mark, in two weeks, the entry into the running of the National 2 clubs.
This Saturday, 43 new will enter the running before the others the next day. The various draws have meant that only one meeting will oppose two residents of National 3. It will be in the Mediterranean between Athlético Aix-Marseille-Provence and Istres FC. In total, 1082 matches will oppose amateur clubs throughout the weekend, or 2164 teams competing in this third round.
