132 new cases tested positive for coronavirus, 43 new recovered, 5 new deaths and 55 serious cases in intensive care.

Out of 1952 tests carried out, 132 came back positive for the coronavirus, i.e. a positivity rate of 6.76%. These are 52 contact cases followed and 80 cases resulting from community transmission distributed as follows:

Mbao (6), Saint-Louis (6), Thiès (6), Tivaouane (6), Dakar Plateau (5), Kaolack (5), Marists (5), Kolda (4), Ziguinchor (4), Bignona ( 3), Mbour (3), Rufisque (3), Almadies (2), Guédiawaye (2), Kédougou (2), Mékhé (2), Port (2), Derklé (1), Gibraltar (1), Hlm ( 1), Joal (1), Khombole (1), Keur Massar (1), Matam (1), Nord Foire (1), Sanitized Plots (1), Pikine (1), Pout (1), Sicap Amitié 3 ( 1), Touba (1), and Yoff (1).

43 patients tested negative and declared cured.

55 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.

5 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.

To date, Senegal has 11,872 positive cases including 7,615 cured, 249 deaths and 4,007 still under treatment.
