The Executive keeps quarantine focused on 7 out of 25 regions, in order to prevent further spread of the virus. Among these are Arequipa, Ica, Junín, Huánuco, San Martín, Madre de Dios and Áncash.
However, the regions that accumulate the highest number of infections to date are Metropolitan Lima, Callao, Piura and Lambayeque, totaling 224 822 cases
