Kotabumi–At least three North Lampung residents died of dengue haemorrhagic fever during 2022.

“Since January until now, three dengue patients have died,” Acting Head of North Lampung Health Service Maya Natalia Manan said on Friday (11/18/2022).

Whenever they find a case of DHF, they always conduct an investigation to make sure the patient really has DHF or not. The search was carried out at the health center and the hospital, as well as the patient’s residence.

“After it is confirmed that we are indeed infected with DHF, we will take action such as fogging and also socializing the importance of keeping the environment clean for residents,” he said.

Separately, North Lampung Health Service Disease Prevention and Control Division Chief Dian Mauli said that cases of DHF have been detected nearly every month this year. Only in April they did not find the case.
