48MP ProRAW photos

IPhone 14 Pro models come with an upgraded rear camera system capable of taking 48MP photos, but only in ProRAW mode, which can be enabled in the Settings app in Apple ProRAW Format Camera with the resolution set to 48MP .

In the Camera app, a button labeled RAW will appear in the top right corner to easily enable or disable ProRAW.

ProRAW images retain more detail in the image file for greater editing flexibility.

Since 48MP ProRAW photos are very large files, each 75MB or larger, consider your iPhone storage space if you take photos in this mode.

4K cinema mode

On all four iPhone 14 models, cinema mode videos can now be recorded in 4K. To enable a higher resolution in the Settings app, tap Camera Cinematography and choose 4K at 24fps or 4K at 30fps.
