10 Schools in Ciamis Receive Adiwiyata Award

Ciamis News, (harapanrakyat.com), – 10 schools in Ciamis Regency received Adiwiyata awards from the Ciamis Residential and Environmental Public Housing Service, Monday (14/6/2021).

Secretary of the DPRKLH Ciamis Regency, Agus Komara said, the 10 schools had previously been assessed and deserved to be awarded as Adiwiyata schools.

“The ten schools that won the Adiwiyata award were from RA, SD, SMP/MTs and SMA/MAN in Ciamis district,” he said.

According to him, the movement for environmental care and culture in schools should be implemented through efforts to instill and shape the character of children who care about the environment from an early age, by involving schools at the TK/RA level.

“We really appreciate and thank all parties for the establishment of cooperation in the stages of the Adiwiyata school at the Ciamis district level,” he said.

Agus encouraged schools under the auspices of the Education Office, the Ministry of Religion and the West Java Provincial Education Office Branch Office of Ciamis Region XIII to be able to take part in the program or activity of this environmentally cultured or adiwiyata school.

“I congratulate the schools that have won the Adiwiyata award at the Ciamis Regency level in 2021,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of RA Generation Rabbani, H. Asep Wawan Suwandi expressed his gratitude to the Ciamis Residential and Environmental Public Housing Service (DPRKPLH) for awarding the Adiwiyata school to RA Generasi Rabbani.

According to him, with this Adiwiyata award, it is an encouragement as a teacher and the school to be even better in the future.

“This award is a mandate that we must maintain, therefore, do not let the healthy and clean environment in this school just stop here, but continue,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, 10 schools that have won the Adiwiyata school award are RA Generation Rabbani, Ciamis District, RA Miftahulsalam, Cijeungjing District, and SMAN 1 Pamarican, Pamarican District.
