After an accident at the very beginning of the morning, traffic is now (almost) normally on the A47 between Saint-Etienne and Lyon. Ditto north of the agglomeration on the A6. On the other hand, it is always complicated in terms of access to Fourvière and on the East bypass in several places.

Access to tunnel under Fourvière remain very busy, more particularly in the south-north direction where there is more than 6 km of retention, in particular due to a broken down vehicle not far from Pierre-Bénite.
The East ring road still circulating at slow speed, with the same black spots since the beginning of the morning, namely between Marennes and Saint-Priest, in the direction of Paris, for another ten kilometers. It also gets stuck around the Node des Îles, near Rillieux, to enter the town, where traffic is blocked according to the regional traffic information center.
On the side of the A47 and traffic from the Loire we find colors since the traffic has almost become fluid again, for a Thursday morning in any case. Better also but still a few km slowdown in the east and the entrance to the city on the side of the A43.

The A6, north of Lyon, is the only point that has become clearer on the real-time traffic map of the main motorway axes. The accident between a heavy truck and a car, in the direction of Paris, is over, according to the regional traffic information center.
On the other hand, the difficulties persist almost everywhere else. The black spot of the day is the eastern ring road, totally saturated with more than 12 kilometers of traffic jam between Simandres and Saint-Priest, in the direction of Paris therefore. We drive a little better in the other direction.
Also allow 4 to 5 km of slowing down on each side of the tunnel under Fourvière, from Limonest to the south and from Pierre-Bénite to the north.
Finally, do not expect to find fluid traffic on the” A43 from Nord-Isère or on the A47 near Givors, these congestion points known to motorists are not spared.

on the A43 it gets a bit more complicated at the eastern entrance to Lyon, from Nord-Isère, with a slowdown now estimated at more than 6 km according to the regional traffic information center.
It is also starting to clog up a little more significantly at the southern entrance to the town, on the A7, in a south-north direction, with soon two kilometers of retention from Ternay.
And it’s not getting better on the East ring road, decidedly well saturated this Thursday morning, with more than 11 km of slowing down towards Paris, between Simandres and Saint-Priest.
North of the city, on the A6, the accident which occurred shortly before 8 a.m. in the direction of Paris only moderately disturbed traffic, even if the right lane was closed to traffic.
Finally, coming from the Loire, on the A47, the situation has almost returned to normal after the accident which occurred shortly before 7 a.m. between two vehicles. The slowdown has subsided and there are only 2 to 3 km of disturbances from Saint-Etienne, before Ternay.
