1. Earth is the second densest planet in the Solar System, after Venus. Although Earth is smaller than Jupiter and Saturn, it has a greater mass due to the denser core of the planet.

2. Most of the Earth’s surface consists of water. About 70% of the Earth’s surface is ocean, while another 30% is land. The largest region on Earth is Asia.

3. The highest mountain on Earth is Mount Everest which is located in the Himalayas in Nepal. This mountain has a height of 8,848 meters above sea level.

4. Earth has one natural satellite, the moon. The Moon is the largest celestial body orbiting the Earth and has a diameter about a quarter of that of Earth.

5. The Earth revolves around the Sun in 365.25 days. A calendar year consists of 365 days and 1 leap day every 4 years.

6. Earth’s atmosphere is composed of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gases such as carbon dioxide, argon, and neon. Earth’s atmosphere also serves to absorb harmful radiation from the Sun and maintain temperatures that can support life.

7. There are several rare and amazing natural phenomena on Earth, such as the Aurora Borealis (northern lights), Aurora Australis (southern lights), and lenticular clouds (clouds that form over mountains and have unusual shapes).

8. Earth has about 8.7 million species of living things. Most of these species have not been identified and many are still unknown.

9. There are many UNESCO world heritage sites on Earth, including the Borobudur Temple in Indonesia, the Pyramids in Egypt, and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

10. In addition to being a place for humans to live, the Earth is also home to millions of other species of living things. Our existence as humans must be balanced with environmental sustainability so that the Earth can continue to support life in the future.
