The main focus is to allow preliminary feasibility studies to be exempted and to simplify preliminary feasibility studies if necessary for rapid and smooth construction.
It was passed by the Judiciary Committee yesterday after passing the National Land Transportation Commission, which is a standing committee under its jurisdiction.
However, the political controversy over Gadeokdo’s new airport is expanding.
President Moon Jae-in yesterday sought out Gadeokdo Island with key party, government, and government officials to help promote the new airport.
