In Seoul, you can see the full moon not only from the sky but also from the banks of the Han River.

Large structures begin to glow.
As darkness sets in, a circular object with a warm yet rough texture comes to mind.
The moon, which only rose in the sky, settled on the banks of the Han River.
It is a public art work’Moonlight Nodeul’ installed in the dock of Nodeul Island in Seoul.

The circular structure with a diameter of 12 m has 45,000 holes.
The rays of light and the wind in and out form the surface of the moon.
This is a reopening project of Nodeul Island, where the boat route is reopened 50 years after the sandy beach disappeared due to the construction of the Gangbyeonbuk-ro in the 1970s.

This’Moonlight Cruise’ will go back and forth between Yeouido and Nodeul Island once a day, 5 days a week starting from the 6th of the following month.
By the 1st of next month, the city of Seoul is planning to hold an event to raise 120 wishes containing the message of the citizens’ New Year’s wishes.
