There have been dozens of cases in which government officials in Geumsan County, Chungcheongnam-do, used business promotion expenses during the ban on gatherings of five or more people.
Geumsan-gun explained that it occurred in the process of business processing, such as payments being made at once, but the Chungcheongnam-do audit committee initiated an investigation.

This is the contents of the business promotion expenses disclosed on the website of Geumsan-gun, Chungnam.
It was written that 24 employees of an administrative welfare center in Geumsan-gun spent 400,000 won at a nearby restaurant on December 29 last year.
A department in the county office used cards at restaurants four times at the end of the year for employee encouragement and meetings.
It is said that the number of attendees exceeded 5, and there were cases of exceeding 40.
All of them are used during the period when an order to prohibit groups of more than 5 people is issued, and there is a suspicion of violation of quarantine regulations.
Dozens of such cases have also been confirmed by the department in charge of quarantine operations.
Suspicions have also been raised that the contents of the business promotion expenses disclosed on the website were falsely written.
The health center wrote that the number of people to eat was 4, but there were cases where 9 people were paid on the receipt.
Geumsan-gun explained that there was no violation of the quarantine regulations, only that it was delivered to eat or paid for at once.
