The COVID-19 group infection, which started at Jinju International Prayer Center in Gyeongnam Province, is spreading to nearby cities, counties, Busan, and Ulsan.
The quarantine authorities accused the director of prayer to the police for violating the Infectious Disease Control Act.

The aftermath of group infection at Jinju International Prayer Center in Gyeongnam is spreading to nearby cities and counties.
As well as Jinju, confirmed cases came from seven cities and counties in Gyeongnam, including Namhae and Changwon.
In Gyeongnam alone, there were nearly 60 cumulative confirmed cases.
The chain infection, not only to visitors, but also to families, raises concerns about further transmission.

The confirmed cases related to the International Prayer Center also came from Busan, Ulsan, and Jeonnam beyond Gyeongnam.
Five visitors from Busan and one from Suncheon and Ulsan each were confirmed.
In particular, one of the confirmed cases in Busan was also missing from the visitor list received from Jinju City.
The quarantine authorities even secured a list of lodging guests and began tracking them, as some visitors to the prayer center were not contacted or missed.
Along with this, the Director of Prayer was accused of violating the Infectious Disease Control Act to the police.

As confirmed cases followed in various places, an administrative order was issued to visitors to the International Prayer Center in Jeollanam-do after Gyeongnam to undergo a corona 19 test.
The quarantine authorities are tense as to whether there is a large-scale spread as there has not been a full investigation of those who have visited the prayer center yet.
