[앵커]
While the Korea Football Association appointed Jurgen Klinsmann as the new head coach to lead the men’s national soccer team, Michael Müller, chairman of the Power Reinforcement Committee, held a press conference and explained the process of appointing Klinsmann as coach.
Chairman Mueller said, “We selected five candidates through various discussions among dozens of primary candidates, and we appointed Klinsman, who was the first target of negotiations.”
“Coach Klinsman has a good impression of Korean soccer, so he took a positive attitude toward the negotiations, and we also agreed that he would live in Korea during his tenure,” Muller said.
Klinsmann, the new head coach, will return to Korea next week and prepare for the warm-up matches against Colombia on the 24th and Uruguay on the 28th of next month.
