At the end of the year, a cold wave warning was issued, and the 49th disaster was held by Nuon Sokheng, a Cambodian migrant worker who died sleeping in a green house.
Those who gathered to remember the deceased agreed that this tragedy should not happen again.

Nuon Sokheng from Cambodia was found dead on December 20 last year.
It was a day when a cold wave warning came down due to the extreme cold of -18 degrees Celsius, but I fell asleep while sleeping in a cubicle with only a partition in a thin plastic house.
People who gathered at Sok Heng’s 49th resentment broke out in agony, saying that migrant workers were not guaranteed to even have the minimum human rights.

Sokheng’s death was also said to be due to rupture of blood vessels due to cirrhosis of the liver, but acquaintances lamented that it was also due to the poor environment.
They argued that the employment permit system, which was originally created for the same treatment as Koreans, brought about the same tragedy and should be abolished.

Participants criticized slavery as preventing migrant workers from moving their workplaces without the consent of the employer.
Sok Heng’s 49 articles were held with Cheon Do Jae for Cambodian migrant workers who died while working in Korea.
