The number of new corona19 confirmed patients in Korea fell below 1,000 again in one day.
As of today (5th) 0 o’clock, it was 715, down more than 300 people from the previous day.
In Gyeonggi and Seoul alone, there were 214 and 193, respectively.
Including Incheon, the proportion of new patients in the metropolitan area was close to 68% of all domestic cases yesterday.
Even non-capital regions where double-digit confirmed cases, such as Chungbuk and Gangwon, are not safe.
In particular, the trend of deaths is of concern.
Yesterday alone, 26 people died from the corona, the cumulative death toll exceeded 1,000.
The number of patients with severe gastric disorders also surged to 35, approaching 390.
There is a growing voice that medical support should be strengthened in places where high-risk groups live a lot, such as nursing homes, to prevent further human damage.
