About 100 top leaders from around the world are expected to attend, but after the controversy in China, Vice President Wang Qishan has decided to offer condolences.

Has President Biden arrived in London?

United States President Joe Biden and his wife arrived in London to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
First of all, President Biden and his wife will visit Westminster Hall tonight to pay homage to the Queen’s coffin, this afternoon local time, our time.
He will also attend a reception hosted by Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
Japanese king Naruhito and his wife left for England yesterday to attend the queen’s funeral.
The Associated Press reported that the emperor was reluctant to attend funerals other than his parents for cultural reasons, but decided to attend due to his ties to the British royal family.
Vice President Wang Qishan is expected to attend from China.
Earlier, British media reported that House Speaker Lindsey Hoyle denied the Chinese delegation visits due to human rights issues in Xinjiang.
However, the BBC reported that Vice President Wang Qishan had been invited to attend the funeral and the Chinese Foreign Ministry also confirmed this.

Leaders from Commonwealth countries, including Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, arrived in London early and met separately with King Charles III.
King Charles III had a separate conversation with Commonwealth national leaders yesterday at Buckingham Palace.
The event was attended by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanis, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Hornis.
About 100 presidents and heads of government are expected to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, including South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol.

The remains of Queen Elizabeth II can now be found in London’s Westminster Hall.
Today is the fourth day we accept people in general mourning, but the line is still long.
Tomorrow’s funeral will begin at 11:00 local time and 19:00 our time.
The funeral will be presided over by senior priest David Hoyle of Westminster Abbey, while British Prime Minister Liz Truss will read the Bible.
There are more than 2,000 key figures from around the world and top leaders from each country are expected to sit in the aisle inside Westminster Abbey, following the British royal family.
So far, it has been delivered by the International Department.
