[국제]”I want to go home”… truck drivers collide with police at Dover Port

The border between Britain and France, which had been blocked due to the spread of the’mutant virus’, was opened conditionally, but the main trade route, the Port of Dover, was not opened the day after the agreement.

Because of this, cargo truck drivers trying to leave the UK also collided with the police.

It is the port of Dover in the UK to the continent of Europe.

Britain and France agreed to reopen their borders, but the Dover Port was not open the day after the agreement.

When the news of the reopening of the border came, cargo truck drivers flocked to Dover from the morning.

Long lines of vehicles lined up on the nearby highway.

However, for reasons such as the preparation of the Corona 19 inspection station, police have restricted entry to Dover Port.

The impatient drivers booed and some even fought.

Under the conditions of border reopening, truck drivers intending to enter France are required to present a COVID-19 negative confirmation.

The British government also set up a corona 19 inspection station at the entrance to Dover Port in Buryaburya, but the inspection is not being conducted efficiently.

The UK government currently counts more than 5,000 cargo trucks as being near the Port of Dover, and expects to take 2-3 days for corona testing.

The UK retail consortium is concerned that the supply of fresh food could suffer if the truck congestion at Dover is not resolved quickly.
