Rescue work is ongoing for miners trapped 580 meters underground in a gold mine explosion in China.

Fortunately, 12 survivors have been confirmed, and a phone call was made with them in eight days, raising the possibility of a dramatic rescue.

Last Sunday, the week after an explosion in a gold mine in Shandong Province, China.

It was confirmed the survival of the buried miners by piercing the pipe vertically and sending a signal with a hammer sound.

Then, flashlights and medicines were sent down, and letters of survivors were posted asking for help.

The wet stationery tells of the desperate situation that the explosion is still smoky and full of water.

The rescue team sent down blankets, thermometers, and millet through a vertical tube about 22 cm in diameter.

We even set up emergency calls over landlines, and we succeeded in calling.

The gold mine explosion occurred on the 10th.

The explosion blocked a large vertical passage, trapping 22 miners below.

Currently, 11 people in Tunnel 5 and 1 in Tunnel 6 are eagerly waiting for rescue at about 586m underground.

Drilling is ongoing to find 10 other miners who are still unknown to life.

Some of the holes drilled by the rescue team are 71 cm in diameter, so they can lift an adult of ordinary build.

Chinese miners caught hope at the crossroads of life and death.

We eagerly hope that the same miracle as the Chilean miners who came to life after 69 days after being trapped 700 meters underground 11 years ago will come back.
