佛Researchers “Corona existed in France, a month ahead of China”

While the Chinese government denies the origin of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), reports that the first case of the outbreak existed before December 2019 has been followed.

– According to the French media Le Monde on the 10th (local time), the Pierre-Louis Institute for Infectious Diseases and Public Health analyzed 9144 blood samples collected from participants in the cohort (same group) project and found 13 cases from November 2019 to January 2020. Revealed that it had a positive test for Corona 19. Of these, ten cases appeared in November-December 2019.

This is a month earlier than the official report of the first case of infection in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China at the end of December 2019.

Half of those who were confirmed to be infected lately were found to have traveled abroad at the time or had contact with people who had other diseases.

A woman in her 30s said that her partner had severe coughing symptoms in October 2019, and another said she had met a family member with pneumonia of unknown origin from October to December 2019. It was said that this woman also went to Spain at the time.

Professor Fabrys Cara, who led the study, said, “These results suggest that from November and December 2019, the Corona 19 infection rate in France was already around 1 per 1,000 people.” It is the same as finding it.”

The first corona 19 confirmed in France so far was a pneumonia patient who was admitted to a hospital in Sen-Saint-Denis near Paris at the end of December 2019.

– According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that day, the World Health Organization (WHO) also identified a patient suspected of corona19-like symptoms in China in October 2019. It is two months ahead of the first case of the outbreak officially announced by the Chinese government.

The WHO field investigation team, who traveled to Wuhan, China to investigate the origin of Corona 19, obtained medical records of 92 people who had been hospitalized with similar symptoms such as pneumonia in the Hubei province before December 2019.

According to Peter Ben Embarek, head of the WHO investigation, the Chinese government conducted a serum test to confirm the presence or absence of corona19 antibodies. The Chinese government said that two-thirds of the tests were negative, except for the dead and test rejectors, and said, “We have not found any signs of virus infection.”

However, the WHO investigative team stated that more extensive testing is needed because antibodies may have disappeared more than a year after the onset. The presence of patients with similar symptoms is because it could be evidence of when the virus spread.

The WHO investigating team said they had asked the Chinese authorities to test the serum of a number of samples stored in blood banks, but had not obtained permission.
