The policeman noted that due to the fact that there are known cases of forgery of certificates, they will be checked very carefully, and also recalled that for the production and sale of fake medical documentation, offenders could face punishment – from a fine of 17 thousand hryvnia to 5 years in prison. When using fake certificates and certificates, punishment is provided – from a fine of up to 850 hryvnia to restriction of freedom for up to 2 years.

“If it is proved that a person infected with a coronavirus infection has spread the disease, he can be prosecuted,” Biloshitsky added.

We will remind, earlier in Ukraine the first sentences were passed for counterfeiting COVID certificates. Both violators were sentenced to a fine of UAH 850. They were caught trying to cross the border with Poland.

First conviction for COVID certificate forgery received a doctor. The physician was fined 34 thousand hryvnias and deprived of the right to engage in professional activities for one year. A doctor from the Dnepropetrovsk region was convicted. In total, in 2021, the police opened 3,350 criminal proceedings for falsifying the results of PCR tests.

Note that now five regions of Ukraine have found themselves in the “red” quarantine zone, where strict restrictions have been introduced. However, the quarantine will not affect everyone, but only those Ukrainians who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. What are the rules in the “red” zone, where they will not be allowed without a COVID certificate, will it be possible to go to restaurants and gyms, read the material OBOZREVATEL.

As reported OBOZREVATEL:

  • Ministry of Health demands to suspend doctors from workwho may have been involved in issuing fake COVID vaccination certificates. Previously, heads of at least 15 medical institutions in Ukraine received the corresponding written orders.
