The Formula E car will perform a demonstration run in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building on Saturday 19 November. The “ZEV-Tokyo Festival” event to learn about “Zero Emission Vehicles” will be held for two days on November 19 and 20 (Sun) around the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
“ZEV-Tokyo Festival” is an event for the whole family to experience “Zero Emission Vehicle”, an environmentally friendly car that runs without emitting exhaust fumes.
At the event, which celebrates the gathering of earth-friendly zero-emission vehicles, there will be a test drive event, manufacturer presentations and a performance by Risa Uehara.
And the highlight is the demonstration run by the Formula E car. From 2.30 pm on Saturday, November 19, the GEN2 car will be driving in a special area set up in front of Tomin Hiroba. The driver will be Mitsunori Takaboshi, a Nissan driver.
A numbered ticket is required for the Formula E demonstration race viewing committee. It will be held from 10:00 on November 19 at the “numbered ticket distribution venue” in Tokyo Citizen’s Square.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Formula E have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate with the aim of holding a race around Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s largest international exhibition center, in spring 2024, with the approval of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile).
