A Russian mobilized camp was established in the Luhansk region. The “Telegram” channel “Vjorstka” talks about it, referring to one of the survivors, Aleksey Agafonov. The man said his battalion was brought to the front in the night between 1 and 2 November, “Novaya Gazeta” reports.
“We were sent out, we were told to dig, but we only had three shovels for the whole battalion, there was no support. We dug as much as possible and in the morning the shooting started: artillery,” grades ” [raķešmetēji], mortars and drones just mowed us down. When it all started, the agents immediately fled. We tried to dig through the shots, but we were immediately spotted by the drones and just shot at us.
Out of 570 people, 29 remained, another 12 were injured, all the others were killed, “Agafonov said.
The deceased had arrived in Ukraine from the Voronezh region.
Another mobilized spouse confirmed that hundreds of soldiers were killed in that firefight, according to her husband. “The dead are obviously more than half,” she said.
According to Agafonov, to this district [Luhanskas apgabalu] while people mobilized from all over the country are brought to fill the gaps in defense, while contract soldiers and volunteers “sit in the third row”.
