As the spread of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea continued, there were confirmed cases across the country on the 6th.
According to the quarantine authorities and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 379 new confirmed cases nationwide tested positive for Corona 19 from 0 o’clock to 9 PM on that day.
It is 10 fewer than the 389 counted at the same time the day before.
In the area where confirmed cases were found, 309 people (81.5%) in the metropolitan area and 70 people (18.5%) in the non-metropolitan area.
By city and province, Gyeonggi 155, Seoul 126, Incheon 28, Gyeongbuk 13, Gangwon 9, Daegu and Chungbuk 8 each, Jeonbuk 7, Busan 5, Jeonnam and Chungnam 4, Ulsan and Gyeongnam each 3 , 2 people each in Gwangju and Jeju, and 1 each in Daejeon and Sejong.
There were confirmed cases in all 17 provinces nationwide.
As there is still time until midnight, when the count is closed, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 0 o’clock on the 7th is expected to increase to around 400.
The previous day, by midnight, the number increased by 29 and ended at 418.
The number of new confirmed patients per day, which had been declining with a gentle downward curve this year, surged to 600 right after the Lunar New Year holiday (2.11-14) last month, but has been stagnant, rising to 300-400 over the next 15 months.
During the last week (2.28~3.6), the number of new confirmed patients per day recorded 355 → 355 → 344 → 444 → 424 → 398 → 418, an average of 391 per day.
Among them, about 372 confirmed cases of local outbreaks on average per week, which is a key indicator of the adjustment of the’social distancing’ stage. This figure, after falling below 400 people on the 25th of last month (395 people), remains within the range of the second stage of distance (more than 300 people nationwide).
In the case of major new outbreaks, small-scale infections occurred one after another, mainly in the metropolitan area.
In relation to the family and acquaintances of Michuhol-gu, Incheon, a total of 10 people have been tested positive so far.
In addition, 10 people, including family and acquaintances, were confirmed at an acquaintance meeting in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, and 11 were confirmed at an acquaintance meeting in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province.
In addition, the cumulative number of cases of foreign group infections in Dongducheon, Gyeonggi-do increased to 132, and 64 infected cases have been reported so far in relation to fitness in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do.
