Russia’s media regulator requires YouTube to release channels – budget

Russia’s media regulator has urged the video platform YouTube to unblock dozens of blocked Moscow state media channels. At the same time, the Roskomnadzor authority threatened “technical intervention” on Saturday if appearances by the media, social representatives, sports teams and educational projects were not allowed again. It is feared that YouTube could soon be shut down in Russia as well.
