Noah Valen-Utvik (18) is in high school at the same time as he manages social media accounts for some of the world’s biggest youtube stars.

The Norwegian manages some of the Sidemen influencers’ side accounts. Among other things, he helps them promote both burgermerket Sides and the vodka brand XIX.
Sides was launched this December, and has already had great success on social media. The sidemen have been referred to several times as Europe’s largest youtube collective.
–Big fan
The 18-year-old says that he had watched Sidemen “forever”, and that he is proud to work with them.
– I think it’s very cool to work for them. They are very big in Norway and, so most people I talk to know who they are.
–Was contacted by the manager
Valen-Utvik says that he has never been on LinkedIn, but that the opportunity arose shortly after he created an account on the network platform.
– Their manager had posted a post that they needed «social media managers». I commented there, and five minutes later a message appeared in my inbox, he says.
–The job is to have control over the content on the platform, post pictures of them and find captions.
His goal is to gain more experience in the field so that he can work full time with social media when he finishes high school.
– Norway is on the plan
Currently, there are only 16 outlets in London and the United Arab Emirates.
He says, however, that the goal is to continue to grow and grow in more countries.
– Norway is on the plan. When, on the other hand, is a little difficult to say.
–The 18-year-old also hopes that he himself can visit the Sidemen boys.
– So far, I have only had contact with them through their manager. They have mentioned that they want to fly me out there and such, but due to the pandemic it does not work, so it is a bit awkward, says Valen-Utvik.
Lived together
The sidemen consist of these members:
KSI (Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji), Wroetoshaw (Harry Lewis), Miniminter (Simon Minter), Vikkstar (Vik Barn), Zerkaa (Josh Bradley), Behzinga (Ethan Payne) og TBJZL (Tobi Brown).
They have been known for their wild inventions on the channel since 2013, and post videos every Sunday.
The Youtubers and have, among other things, spent their income on a luxury villa which was named “Sidemen house”. Four of them lived there from 2016 to 2019. Rumors swirled that KSI was the one who had paid for the animal house, but it was never confirmed.
Now only KSI and Miniminter live together. Vikkstar has already moved to a new luxury villa together with his fiancée.
