Nintendo Switch firmware update version 10.0.0 released • Nintendo Connect

Nintendo has the firmware for the systems of the Nintendo SwitchFamily updated to version 10.0.0. As always, no groundbreaking features are included, the one we translated Changelog from Nintendo of America you can read below:

A bookmark function has been added to the news.
With this function you can bookmark special messages and add them to your favorites.

• A maximum of 300 messages can be bookmarked.
• An internet connection is required to view bookmarked news.
• Messages that are no longer available cannot be viewed, even if they have been bookmarked.

An option to transfer software data between system memory and an SD card has been added.

• Users can now transfer downloaded software, update files and DLC content from system memory to an SD card (and vice versa).
• Please note that saves and some update data cannot be transferred to an SD card.

An option has been added to reassign the controller key bindings.

• Analog stick and button assignments can now be changed for each paired controller.
• User-defined configurations can be saved as favorites under System Settings> Controllers and Sensors.
  • Custom configurations are on the Nintendo SwitchSystem saved.
  • The configurations can be adapted for the following controllers: Joy-Con (L), Joy-Con (R), Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Button configurations can also be found on the Nintendo Switch Lite system can be customized.
  • This function is not available for other controllers.
  • Each system can have up to five preferred custom configurations for Joy-Con (L), five for Joy-Con (R) and five for Nintendo Switch Can be saved per controller. Five configurations can also be used as favorites for Nintendo Switch Lite can be saved.
