Netflix has different prices for users in different countries around the world. The current price increase only applies to some markets, where prices increase by one to two dollars, depending on the tariff. In the Czech Republic, prices remain so far, Netflix has gained a slight increase in profits due to the strengthening of the koruna.
When Netflix in 2011 it started, starting at $ 7.99. He later came up with three different tariffs at different prices, and while Basic has risen in price by $ 3 in ten years (and reduced the quality to SD), the Premium with the highest image quality will almost triple. He brought the news about the increase Reuters and in addition to the United States, it also applies to Canada.
Netflix offers the same tariffs in the USA as in our country, ie Basic, Standard and Premium. The basic tariff can only SD broadcast, the middle one offers Full HD and up to two streams at the same time, and Premium broadcasts in 4K HDR for up to four users at the same time (within the family). The highest rate also offers sound in Dolby Atmos.

Czech prices are still at the same level as Netflix came to the Czech Republic in 2016. From the beginning we had to pay in euros, since 2018 Netflix has been translated into Czech and the subscription has started to be paid in crowns. At that time, the exchange rate was CZK 25.6 for one €.
Due to the movement of the exchange rate in favor of a stronger koruna, we also saw an increase in Netflix’s revenues. According to the tariff, from a few cents to one euro. However, there is no guarantee that the increase in the next wave will avoid us.
