Beatriz Conde Mesa, mother of political prisoner Abel Lázaro Machado Conde, said that she will ask her son to commit suicide and then do it herself, due to the depression she is experiencing due to her son’s imprisonment.
The woman mentioned that her son has been sleeping on the floor for more than two weeks, on a mat in poor condition, less than a meter long and full of bedbugs, in Company 6.
The mother of the political prisoner on July 11 mentioned that prison officials lie, assuring that no inmate sleeps on the floor, but after communicating with her son, he denied the authorities’ statement.
“They gave me a mattress full of holes and bedbugs. He is already sick of psychological abuse and torture. I am going to send him to take his own life, to kill myself in the back, to put an end to all this shit, with all this torture that the Cuban government has with my son,” the Cuban asserted.
In the midst of tears and indignation, the woman assured that Machado Conde is a young man with a high suicidal risk, for which she herself will ask him to kill himself, to end the suffering he is going through with all the torture he has experienced. .

“Abusers! They are committing a murder with that child, they are taking him to take his own life. I ask everyone for help, I can’t take it anymore with this pain (…) What I want is to die so I don’t have more work. They are condemning me to death, ”he added.
Likewise, the woman said that when she takes her own life, she will leave a letter denouncing all the injustices of the regime, against people who did not commit any crime.
He also promised that the person who imprisoned him will pay him back: “Every day of my life I wake up asking God to charge you,” he concluded.
The desperation of this woman is due to all the torture her son goes through inside the prison, without any guarantee of well-being despite suffering from mental problems.
