Four documentaries in three functions make up the first version of the “Animal Film Series”, which will have Valdivia as the chosen city.
The activity, organized jointly by the Cine Club, the Valdivia Vegan group and the Environment Secretariat of the Universidad Austral de Chile (Uach), is an initiative that tries to raise awareness about animal welfare and their rights as sentient beings.
The cycle began this Monday with the screening of the Argentine documentary “Invisibles”, by Ana Paula Rosillo, and the French documentary “Food for Change”, by Benoit Bringer.
On Wednesday at 4 p.m. it will continue with “Eating our Way to Extinction”, by Ludo Brockway and Otto Brockway.
Finally, on Thursday, November 23, at 4 p.m., the documentary “Slay” by Rebecca Capelli will be shown.
All screenings have free entry and will feature a presentation and a discussion after the screenings.
