Earlier on November 21, YG Entertainment said, “Song Minho’s father passed away on the 21st.”
Song Min-ho’s father is said to have struggled with the disease before he was alive. Last March, Song Min-ho opened Channel A’s “Oh Eun-young’s Golden Side Counseling Center”, saying, “I am very worried because my father is sick right now.”
After her father’s death, Song Min-ho held her first solo exhibition, “Thank You – Ohnim Solo Exhibition”, on the 16th of this month in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
In the letter, Song Min-ho said, “Goodbye dad. My father, who is selfish to the end. Why did you say ‘Give me money’, ‘Please pay me back’, ‘Give me liver’, but why did you say “Wow”? Didn’t you say “Please stay”? “I’m busy, but I’m sorry.” That’s what he called me. I wasn’t busy that day at all. How lonely my father must have been alone. Even though he knew it, he he hated, so he didn’t make that simple phone call.”
In particular, he said, “I thought for a moment that the hospital’s monthly bill of 10 million won was not worth it. So you left in a hurry. Anyway, I’ve been the breadwinner for 10 years, so it’s not a waste . I just want to talk to my father more. I won’t blame myself and I won’t blame everything on my father. If I collapse, why doesn’t it work. Because I will protect everything. Dad, goodbye. I miss you a lot now”, revealing a feeling heartbreaking and prompting the tears of the spectators.
