Citroen has introduced an experimental version of the cheap My Ami electric car called the Buggy. The concept car is positioned as “the ideal vehicle for driving around the city as well as to … the beach”.
The innovation differs from the standard version of the electric car in the lack of doors, which were replaced by transparent waterproof curtains that can be unfolded and closed in rainy weather. In addition, a special visor is mounted on the roof above the windshield to protect from the sun on clear days.
In addition, the Citroen My Ami Buggy is equipped with wide tires for driving on sand and light off-road terrain. A special LED strip is mounted on the front of the car’s roof to improve visibility when driving in the dark or fog.
A special camera holder has been installed in the salon, which will record photos and videos from trips in nature for their subsequent upload to social networks. The car seats have new Advanced Comfort cushions with double foam (35 to 70 mm) and memory effect.
The technical characteristics of the concept car have not yet been announced. The standard Citroen My Ami is powered by a 6-kilowatt electric motor (8 hp), powered by a 5.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery.
The maximum speed of the car is 45 km / h, and the declared mileage without recharging the batteries is 75 km. In Europe, prices for such a car start at 6,500 euros.
