This shipment was sent from Peru and was destined for a house in the Chinese city of Hong Kong.
It was the previous February 13, when a marble pairing detected the content and alerted the officers.
The cereal contained white powder and the flakes were covered with a grayish substance. They both tested positive for cocaine.
Regarding the event, the Cincinnati port director, Richard Gillespie, stated that smugglers would try to hide illegal substances in any conceivable place, however, he countered that, for their part, “They will use their training, intuition and strategic skills.” against such clandestine actions.
