Since the start of the summer, the B & YOU mobile plan brand has been very discreet. Yesterday morning, it completely revised its range to keep only two packages available (against 4 previously). This change in strategy is linked to a special offer which makes most of the old formulas obsolete. A version with 100 GB of data per month arrives and will hurt its rivals.

A discounted mobile plan, zero commitment
In 2011, Bouygues Telecom formalized its B & YOU non-binding mobile plan brand. The latter has established itself as a benchmark in the market, facing players like Sosh or RED by SFR. They are struggling to compete with the new B & YOU offer, unveiled yesterday morning. Clearly, this package with 100 GB will not leave anyone indifferent … while waiting for the response of the competitors?
To come now to this new mobile plan, it includes all unlimited calls, SMS and MMS with 100 GB of data for € 13.99 per month. Until a few hours ago, this offer was posted for € 15.99 per month. So you can save € 2 on your subscription every month – knowing that the standard offer is already highly competitive. Outside of special periods such as the start of the school year, there are plans with 100 GB of data for around € 20 per month.
Among the other small advantages of this “back-to-school special edition” mobile plan, we can highlight the 10 GB of monthly data that can be used in the EU and overseas departments. It is always practical if you want to travel more or less regularly throughout the European Union. Then, new customers will also be able to benefit from 3 months free of the Spotify Premium service (€ 9.99 per month).

Finally, the last point that distinguishes B & YOU (and therefore its mobile plan) from its competitors is the quality of the network. Indeed, Bouygues Telecom provides its excellent network of antennas, which ensures that B & YOU customers have good reception quality wherever they are in France. Bouygues Telecom is ahead of SFR on this point, it must be taken into account for those who would be in areas a little less covered.
Two packages for different profiles
As you can see in the illustration above, B & YOU offers two mobile plans. In addition to the formula with 100 GB, there is also a more affordable version, reserved for a very particular audience. This offer allows you to have all calls, SMS and MMS without limit and 200 MB of data for € 4.99 per month. If you have a smartphone (with internet connection), this subscription will be too limited. However, it can be used as a breakdown service if needed.
Whether it is the first mobile plan or the second, both are without term commitment. In other words, B & YOU never blocks its customers. If the price is not “guaranteed for life” (a concept that is controversial, and that the majority of operators have left aside), Bouygues Telecom is still very reasonable. In other words, we should not expect prices to rise drastically after a year. Note that its customer support is also known to be significantly better than the majority of players.
In both cases, each offer on the mobile plan has a limited validity period. For one as for the other, it will absolutely be necessary to subscribe before August 26 at midnight. After this date, Bouygues Telecom and its B & YOU brand will return to basic prices. If you want to save money before the start of the school year, now is the time to grab this special offer.
Bouygues Telecom bets on the start of the school year
In addition to its zero-engagement B & YOU mobile plan, the operator has decided to launch a strong offensive on the internet box market. It has set up a special re-entry offer for its range of boxes. Among them, the best is none other than the Bbox Must which sees its price drop by 59% during the first year of subscription. It gives you access to very high speed (1 Gb / s download), unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles + 180 TV channels (with a 4K decoder) for € 14.99 per month. It’s ultra competitive, no competitor does so well.
If the B & YOU mobile plan range is non-binding, this box comes with an obligation to subscribe for at least 12 months. If this makes you lose a little flexibility over this period, the rate is ultra preferential. You can’t get better at home, we haven’t seen such a low price in recent years.
