Telset.id, Jakarta – Space scientists predict that astronauts will be able to land on an asteroid for the first time in 2037. While the planet Jupiter will be able to land astronauts in 2103.
People alive today will be able to see astronauts land on an asteroid for the first time. That’s the explanation of scientists to the media.
According to New York Postresearchers analyzed NASA’s budget since the 1960s to gauge the likelihood of a mission to the asteroid belt within the next century.
They estimate, Telset Quote on Sunday (29/5/2022), the first crewed mission to the asteroid will take place soon in 2073.

The research was under the control of scientists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. The research went live on the scientific papers website Arxiv last week.
The research team estimated the time frame in which astronauts could land on Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and space rocks in the asteroid belt.
To do so, they looked at NASA’s budget since the creation of the space agency in 1958. So far, NASA has wasted a lot of money.
NASA used the budget to study key events over the years, including the Apollo program in 1966 and the Artemis project.
Researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, managed by Jonathan Jiang, concluded that the overall trend was a steady growth.
They also use historical data to predict the technology could develop in decades. Because NASA had to make a leap.
The researchers concluded that crewed missions to the asteroid could take place as early as 2073, while astronauts to Jupiter in 2103 and Saturn in 2132.
“The world of our solar system, throughout human history only the light spectrum in the night sky, is soon within reach,” the researchers said.
“Human landings on worlds beyond the Moon and Mars were probably witnessed by many people still alive today,” the researchers add
