The EET postponement will be extended until the end of 2022, MEPs supported

As expected, deputies rejected ODS’s renewed attempt to abolish EET altogether by the end of the year.

EET is now suspended until the end of this year due to the effects of coronavirus spread on companies and entrepreneurs. The government has proposed another two-year postponement in view of the situation surrounding the spread of coronavirus, the outlook for economic development and consultations with business unions, associations and chambers.

The EET deferral will concern not only the sectors for which the register has already been introduced, but also its launch for sectors that have not yet recorded sales. These are, for example, craftsmen, doctors, taxi drivers, accountants or lawyers.
