– The daily increase in confirmed cases of covid-19 in the Czech Republic this week continues to be above two hundred, on Wednesday another 244 infected. Since the outbreak in early March, the disease has been confirmed in a total of 17,529 people. The number of currently ill patients continues to grow, of which there are now a record 5,232.
– Frýdek-Místek remains by far the most affected district, where there are almost 78 new cases of covid-19 in the last seven days per 100,000 inhabitants. In the past week, the Karviná region registers about 23 newly infected people per 100,000 inhabitants, Prachatice and Prague over twenty.
– The districts of Rokycany, Děčín and Jeseník are the only ones in the republic that have zero cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
