Argentine firefighters continued their efforts to fight the fires that broke out in the wetlands of the Paraná River Delta region, which destroyed large areas of woodland. The Argentine government has sent helicopters and additional support teams to assist civil protection teams to eliminate fires.
Residents of Rosario, the largest city affected by the fires, posted pictures and expressed their dissatisfaction on social networks, denouncing the scale of the fires and the arrival of smoke in urban areas.
