The Cicpc tracks down murder of artist Antonio Otazzo

The Cicpc is in the footsteps of Ángel de Jesús Fuenmayor, the third person implicated in the asphyxiation murder of the plastic artist Antonio Otazzo (90), whose body was found on July 17 inside his residence located in the Cantarana sector of Cagua, Aragua state.

The director of the Cicpc, commissioner Douglas Rico, said Tuesday through a transmission on his social networks, that Fuenmayor is a subject who does not even have an identity card. But tracking his steps, they found a photograph that Rico exhibited. He asked the citizens to collaborate to offer any information that leads to the arrest of Fuenmayor.

For the crime of Otazzo, France Natalie García Vivas (19) and her partner Jonny José Fisher (27) are already detained. This couple, together with Fuenmayor had received food aid from the plastic artist. And taking advantage of that link, they planned to carry out a robbery at their residence. They entered on July 17, tied him up and then suffocated him to death. They then packed a series of goods into a vehicle owned by the victim.

But when they were planning to flee, a relative from Otazzo showed up at the residence, who observed strange movements and reported to the Cicpc. Officials arrived at the site and located the artist’s body.
